Moon shaved ice are shaved ice that adds a raw 

egg in the middle of the shaved ice, 

and mixing it with condensed milk. 

The name of this specific shaved ice may be traced back to the Japanese Colonial Period.

“月見“就是加蛋的意思。

在台灣有一種剉冰叫做月見冰，即是在剉冰中間打上一顆生雞蛋，再加上煉乳。

估計這種冰品的稱呼應是從日治時代沿用下來的。
